NCWEB: Delhi University's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) has released its second cut-off list for admissions across its 26 college centers. This list offers fewer admission opportunities for the General category but more for reserved categories. Admissions for the General category have been closed for the B.Com program at nine centers and for the B.A. Programme (History-Political Science combination) at 19 centers. On average, NCWEB has lowered the cut-off marks by 1 to 7 percent, with the reduction being more significant for reserved categories. Based on the first cut-off list, 11,535 admissions have already been secured out of a total of 15,200 seats.
Admissions based on this new cut-off list will commence at 10:00 AM on August 4 and remain open until the night of August 6. General category seats for B.Com are now full at Miranda House, Hansraj College, Maitreyi College, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Ramanujan College, Maharaja Agrasen College, Mata Sundri College, and Janki Devi Memorial College.
Consequently, there will be no further admissions for the General category in the B.Com program at these colleges.
However, admissions for this program are still available at a cut-off of 45% at Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College, 49% at Aryabhatta College, and 50% at Bharati College and the College of Vocational Studies.
Admission is possible at 56% at Vivekananda College and Rajdhani College.
Admissions will be granted at 48% at Motilal Nehru College, 56% at Vivekananda and Rajdhani Colleges, and 57% at SPM College. Regarding the B.Com program, admissions have closed only for the SC category at Hansraj College, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, and Maitreyi College; however, admission opportunities remain open for OBC, ST, EWS, and PwD categories. Admissions for the General category in the BA Programme (History-Political Science) combination have closed at Miranda House, Hansraj, Vivekananda, SPM, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Satyawati, Ramanujan, Rajdhani, PGDAV, Motilal Nehru, Mata Sundri, Lakshmibai, Maharaja Agrasen, DDU, JDM, and Maitreyi College. However, for the General category, admissions to this programme remain open at Aditi and Bhagini Nivedita (at 46%), College of Vocational Studies (at 54%), and Keshav Mahavidyalaya (at 61%).
