Why is the D.El.Ed. Required?
In Rajasthan, completing the D.El.Ed. It is mandatory to become a teacher for classes 1 to 8. Without it, one cannot get a job in a government or private school. Who Can Apply?
To appear for this exam, candidates must have passed the 12th grade from any stream. General category candidates must have at least 15% marks in the 12th grade, while SC, ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates must be at least 28 years old. Reserved categories and women will receive exemptions as per the Rajasthan government regulations.

What is the application fee?
The fee for D.El.Ed. General or Sanskrit-only courses are ₹450. Candidates choosing both courses will have to pay ₹500. At the time of application, a passport-size photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression, 10th and 12th grade mark sheets, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and a copy of their bank passbook must be uploaded.
