Border Security Force (BSF) will conduct a Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET/ PST) in the first phase for the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI- Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial), for which the admit cards of the applicants can be made available for download soon. Call letters will be issued online on the official website bsf.gov.in from where candidates will be able to download them by entering login details online.

Eligibility for PET

To be successful in PET, male candidates will have to cover a distance of 1.6 KM in 6 minutes 30 seconds. Apart from this, female candidates will have to run 800 meters in 4 minutes 45 seconds.

Eligibility for PST

To be successful in PST, the minimum height of male candidates should be 165 cm and the chest should be 77 cm without inflating and 82 cm with inflating. The minimum height of female candidates must be 150 cm. Candidates from reserved states/categories will be given relaxation in PST as per the rules.

Steps to download PET PST Admit Card

To download the BSF Recruitment Admit Card, first of all, you have to go to the official website bsf.gov.in.

On the home page of the website, you have to click on the link related to the admit card.

After this, you have to fill in the login details and submit.

Now your admit card will open on the screen from where you will be able to download it.

Candidates should keep in mind that whenever they go to the center for a physical test, they must carry the admit card and valid identity card. Without admit card and ID card you will not be allowed for physical.

Recruitment Selection Process

Candidates who are successful in the physical test will have to appear in the next stage written test (Computer Test/CBT), Document Verification (DME), and Medical Examination (RME). Candidates successful in all the stages will be given a place in the final merit list.

Let us tell you that through this recruitment, appointments will be made for a total of 1526 vacant posts. Out of this, 243 posts are reserved for ASI Stenographer, and 1283 posts are reserved for Head Constable Ministerial.
