Bihar UG Spot Admission 2026: If you wish to enroll in undergraduate courses at universities in Bihar, here is some important news for you. Students have the opportunity to secure admission to undergraduate (UG) courses across all state universities and colleges through the spot round process.

The process for spot round admissions has commenced in various colleges to fill all vacant seats. Interested candidates can apply via the Samarth portal from October 6 to October 8.

BRABU Issues Notice for Spot Round

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) has issued a notice regarding admission to UG courses. According to the notice, admissions can be processed from October 6 to October 8. Applications can be submitted online via the UMIS portal; candidates will also be able to make corrections to their applications there. Subsequently, the on-spot admission process must be completed by visiting the respective college between October 9 and October 12, 2026.

List to be Released on October 9; No Admission via Quota

The university will release the list of eligible candidates on October 9. Following this, the subsequent registration process will be completed at the respective colleges. The university has clarified that registrations during the spot round will not be based on any quota.

Option to Select Three Colleges in Spot Round

Students applying for the spot round will be able to select up to three colleges. Additionally, they will have the option to choose five new subjects. Before applying, students should check the details regarding available seats based on college and subject at the respective university. Information regarding vacant seats will be made available on the portal.

Admission in the spot round will be granted only to those who have already registered.

Admission in the spot round will be available only to students who have already applied but could not secure registration at any college. Students who are already registered will not be required to pay any registration fee; they will be able to apply using their login IDs.
