Following repeated protests by candidates, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has taken a major decision. The advertisement for TRE-4 is set to be released by the BPSC by April 19. Candidates will be able to apply for the examination starting April 25. The examination is scheduled to be held between September 22 and September 27. An advertisement will be issued for a total of 46,882 posts. BPSC Examination Controller Rajesh Kumar Singh has issued this notification.

This time, while filling out the application form, it will be mandatory for candidates to provide preferences for all 38 districts. If a candidate opts for fewer districts and is allotted a different district based on their rank, their selection will be deemed invalid. Consequently, all candidates are advised to select all 38 districts or provide preferences for the maximum possible number of districts. Providing fewer options could result in missing out on the opportunity to secure a job. Through this recruitment drive, teachers will be appointed on a large scale across various schools within the state.

Furthermore, the fee payment process has also changed this time. Candidates must now complete the payment first, after which the link to fill out the application form will become accessible. The procedure for filling out the form has also been modified; it will now consist of three stages: first, the OTR (One-Time Registration); second, the profile creation; and third, the submission of the final application form. If candidates complete their OTR and profile details in advance, the subsequent process of filling out the application form will take significantly less time.

In other words, the process for TRE-4 will differ from the manner in which forms were filled for TRE-1, TRE-2, and TRE-3. Therefore, candidates are advised to exercise extreme caution while filling out the application form. Previously, significant difficulties were encountered regarding fee payments; consequently, the system for this aspect has also been revamped this time around. Candidates will now be required to make the payment first before they are able to proceed with filling out the application form.

It is also worth noting the distribution of vacancies across different sectors: under TRE-4, a total of four departments are included—the Education Department, the Backward and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, and the Minority Welfare Department.

**Recruitment for Various Posts**

The Education Department accounts for the highest number of vacancies, with 10,778 openings in the Primary Section (Classes 1–5). Additionally, there are 8,583 vacancies in the Middle School Section (Classes 6–8). This includes 982 posts at the Secondary level (Classes 9–10) and 16,774 posts at the Higher Secondary level (Classes 11–12).

**Complete Your OTR in Advance**
The Controller of Examinations has advised candidates to complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) before the registration process officially begins. Candidates who have already completed their OTR will face no delays in filling out the application form. Candidates are urged to submit their forms promptly; otherwise, if one waits until the last moment, the heavy traffic on the website portal often leads to system overload, preventing users from completing their tasks.
