BPSC Incentive Scheme: The Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC), operating under the Social Welfare Department, has launched the application process for the “Civil Services Incentive Scheme” in Bihar, aimed at increasing women's participation in administrative service examinations. This scheme is specifically for female candidates who have cleared the 71st Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
The application process is entirely online, and interested candidates can apply through the corporation's official website wcdc.bihar.gov.in/Careers until December 31, 2025.
One-time assistance of Rs. 50,000
Under the scheme, eligible female candidates will receive a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 50,000, intended to provide financial support for further preparation. Applications submitted after the deadline or through any other means will not be considered valid.
Who can apply?
This scheme is only for permanent resident women of Bihar belonging to the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Backward Classes (BC) categories. Women belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Extremely Backward Classes are excluded from this scheme. Additionally, the applicant must:
Have cleared the BPSC 71st Prelims examination
Not be employed in any government department, PSU, or state-funded institution
Not having availed of this scheme previously
What documents are required?
The following documents must be uploaded with the online application:
Photograph, signature, self-attested BPSC admit card, Aadhaar card, domicile certificate, caste certificate (only for BC category), bank passbook/cancelled cheque showing account number and IFSC code. Aadhaar seeding in the bank account is mandatory; mere linking will not be considered sufficient.
An affidavit from a First Class Judicial Magistrate/Executive Magistrate must also be submitted stating that the applicant is not employed in any government-funded institution and has not received any such assistance previously.
All communication will be sent to the applicant's email address; therefore, providing a valid email ID is mandatory.
