Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a recruitment for 935 vacant posts of Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) under the Education Department, for which the application process has started from 27th August. All the candidates who have passed graduation and are looking for a government job have a golden opportunity to join this recruitment.
Interested candidates can fill the form by visiting the official website of BPSC bpsc.bihar.gov.in through online mode to join this recruitment. The last date to apply is 26 September 2025.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
To apply for Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) posts, the candidate must have passed graduation or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years. The maximum age as per the post is 37 years for unreserved male, 40 years for OBC male and female, and 42 years for SC, ST male and female candidates. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st August 2025.
Application Process
To fill the BPSC Recruitment Application Form, first visit the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
On the home page of the website, you have to click on "Online Application".
After this, you have to register by clicking on New Registration (One Time Registration).
After registration, the candidates should complete the form by filling in the other details.
Pay the prescribed application fee, submit the form, take a printout of it, and keep it safe with you.
Application Fee
Along with filling out the online application form, all the candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Along with the fee, the bank, etc., charges will have to be paid separately. Candidates who do not have an Aadhaar number will have to pay Rs 200 separately as a biometric fee.
Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, 935 posts will be recruited. According to the category, 374 posts are reserved for unreserved, 93 posts for the economically weaker section, 150 posts for the scheduled caste, 10 posts for the scheduled tribe, 168 posts for the extremely backward class, 112 posts for the backward class, and 28 posts are reserved for women of backward class.
