BPSC AEDO Exam: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the revised dates for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) recruitment examination. According to the new examination schedule released by the commission, the BPSC AEDO competitive examination will now be held between April 14, 2026, and April 21, 2026. This examination will be conducted in three phases.
Previously, this recruitment examination was scheduled to be held between January 10 and January 16, 2026, but due to some unavoidable reasons, the commission had to postpone it. According to the revised schedule, the first phase of the examination will be held on April 14 and 15, the second phase on April 17 and 18, and the third and final phase on April 20 and 21, 2026.

Approximately 9.8 lakh registered
According to the commission, approximately 9.8 lakh candidates will appear in this recruitment examination, making it one of the largest competitive examinations in the state. The examination was initially scheduled for January, but was postponed, and new dates have now been announced.

Selected candidates will be paid a salary of Rs. 29,200 per month under Level-5.
BPSC AEDO Selection Process: Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection in this recruitment will be based solely on a written examination. There will be no interview. The written examination will consist of objective-type questions and will have negative marking. One-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The written examination will have a total of three papers:
