BPSC MVI Admit Card 2025: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the date of release of the admit card for the recruitment examination 2025 for Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) posts. According to the information released by the commission, candidates will be able to download their hall ticket from the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in from 6 August 2025. This examination is being conducted to fill a total of 28 posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector (Advt. No. 41/2025) in the Transport Department of the Bihar Government.
Know when and at what time the exam will be held.
According to the schedule released by BPSC, the Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) exam will be conducted on two days, i.e., 9th and 10th August 2025. On August 9 (Saturday), the exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the second shift will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. On the other hand, on August 10 (Sunday), the exam will be held in only one shift, which will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the examination center on time so that they can appear in the exam without any hindrance.

Pay Scale
Under this recruitment drive, the selected candidates will be appointed to the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector. The pay scale for this post has been fixed at Level-6, which will be in accordance with the government pay scale structure. Selected candidates will also get dearness allowance, HRA, and other allowances along with basic pay.
How will the selection process be?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview. The exam will be based on three subjects:
General Studies – 100 marks
Automobile or Mechanical Engineering – 100 marks
Motor Vehicle Rules and Act – 100 marks
Each paper will be objective and multiple choice (MCQ), and 2 hours will be given.
