Online applications for the Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2026 are opening today on behalf of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Graduates and aspiring government officials can apply online at bpsconline.bihar.gov.in. The deadline for filling out the application form is May 31, 2026.

72nd Combined (Preliminary Competitive Examination): Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

Child Development Project Officer: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university and one of the following optional subjects: (1) Home Science, (2) Psychology, (3) Sociology, (4) Labor and Social Welfare must be selected for the Main Examination.

Financial Administrative Officer and equivalent: A Bachelor's degree in one of the subjects: Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics from a recognized university or its affiliated institute is mandatory.

Sub-Divisional Protection Officer: A Bachelor's degree in either Psychology or Law from a recognized university is required, and one of the optional subjects: (1) Psychology, (2) Law must be selected for the Main Examination.

Age Limit: The minimum age of a candidate is 20/21/22 years, and the maximum age is 37/40/42 years, depending on the position. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.

How to Fill Out the Application Form
To fill out the BPSC 72 Online Form 2026, first visit the official website bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
On the new portal, first click on the online registration link, enter the required details, and register.
After registration, candidates should complete the application by filling in the other details.
Finally, pay the prescribed fee and take a printout of the completed form, and keep it safe.

Application Fee
After filling out the application form, candidates must pay the application fee. Candidates must pay a separate fee of ₹100 for each post they apply for. A one-time fee of ₹100 is required for applications for the BPSC 72nd exam only.
