BPSC 71st Prelims 2025: Preparations for the 71st Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2025 of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) have been completed. According to the notice issued by the commission, this examination will be conducted across the state on 13 September 2025 (Saturday). A total of 912 examination centers have been set up in 37 districts for the examination.
The commission has clarified that from September 11, 2025, candidates can check the name and code of the examination center by visiting their dashboard. Earlier, only the name of the examination city was given in the e-admit card issued, but now the complete details of the examination center will be made available to the candidates.
Do check the barcode in the admit card
BPSC has given special instructions to the candidates that while downloading the e-admit card, they should take care that the barcode along with their roll number is clearly printed. If the barcode is not clearly visible, then the admit card may be considered invalid.
Important things about the exam
The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm.
It will be mandatory for the candidates to enter the examination center by 11 am. After that, no candidate will be allowed to enter.
Candidates are required to bring a valid photo identity card (Aadhaar card/PAN card/driving license, etc.) along with the admit card.
BPSC has informed that all preparations have been completed for the examination and candidates have been asked to reach the examination center on time.
What to bring along
Candidates have to carry an extra copy of the e-admit card to the examination center. The downloaded admit card should be printed in such a way that the roll number and barcode are clearly visible.

Candidates should first go to the official website of the commission bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login.
After logging in, go to the My Account section.
Click on the relevant advertisement there and select the View/Download option given against Admit Card.
The district of the candidate will be mentioned in the downloaded e-admit card.
