BPSC 70th Vacancy: The Bihar Public Service Commission has once again increased the number of vacancies for the BPSC 70th Recruitment Examination. The commission issued an official notice on Saturday saying that 4 new posts have been added to the Integrated 70th Combined Preliminary Examination. That is, now the vacancy has increased from 2027 to 2031.
Earlier this exam was to be held on 17 November 2024, which was postponed. Now this exam will be conducted on 13 December. This year about 7 to 8 lakh candidates will appear in the written examination.

Earlier there were 4 vacancies for the level-7 post of Additional District Transport Officer and Equivalent Basic Category (Bihar Transport Service) Transport Department, which has now been increased to 8. Now it includes 3 vacancies for unreserved, 1 for EWS, 2 for Scheduled Caste, and 2 for OBC.
The application process for this is going on. Candidates who have still not applied for the exam can apply online through the official website of BPSC (bpsc.bih.nic.in and onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in) till November 4, 2024. The commission said that existing candidates can update their OTR (one-time registration) profile details except name, mother's name, father's name, and date of birth between November 1 to 4.
Application fee
To apply for this exam, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. On the other hand, SC, ST, female candidates permanent residents of Bihar, and disabled category candidates will have to pay Rs 150.
