Board Exam 2026: The board exam season is about to begin in India. Schools across the country will be in exam mode in the coming months. The CBSE, UP, and Madhya Pradesh boards have already released the schedule for Class 10th and 12th board exams. The dates for board exams for several states will also be announced soon. However, today we will tell you when each board's exam will be held next year.
UP Board Date Sheet 2026: Exams to Begin February 18th
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released the datesheet for the UP Board High School and Intermediate Exams 2026 on November 5, 2025. Both UP Board Class 10th and 12th exams will begin on February 18th, 2026, and end on March 12th. You can view the exam schedule for both classes here.

CBSE Board Exam 2026: Exams to begin on February 17
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also released the datesheet for the 2026 Class 10 and 12 board exams on October 30, 2025.
CBSE Class 10 Exam 2026: February 17 to March 10
CBSE Class 12 Exam 2026: February 17 to April 9
CBSE has also clarified that the exams will be based on the full syllabus and practical exams will be held in January.
MP Board Exam 2026: Dates Changed, Exams to be Held on March 5
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) had already released its exam dates, but recently made a change. A key Class 12 exam, originally scheduled for March 3, 2026, will now be held on March 5, 2026.

Bihar Board Exam 2026: Datesheet to be released soon
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has not yet released the datesheet for the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) main exams in 2026, but the schedule for the Pre-Board exams has been announced.
Matriculation (Class 10) Setup Exam: November 19 to 22, 2025
Intermediate (Class 12) Setup Exam: November 19 to 26, 2025
The Bihar School Examination Board will conduct the Class 10 and 12 main board exams in February 2026. Like last year, the timetable is expected to be released by the end of November or the first week of December. It should be noted that the Bihar Board is the first to release board exam results across the country.
Rajasthan Board Exam 2026: Exams to be held in March-April!
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has not yet released the official datesheet for Class 10th and 12th, but the exam schedule is expected to be in March-April. Like last year, Class 10th exams are expected to be held between March 6 and April 4, 2026, and Class 12th exams from March 6 to April 7, 2026.
JEE Main 2026: Registration Opens, Exam in January
Registration for Session 1 of JEE Main 2026 for engineering students began on October 31. The last date to register for this exam is November 27, 2025. However, the exams will be held from January 21 to January 30, 2026. The second session will then be held in April.
Waiting for NEET UG 2026 and CUET 2026 schedules
Notifications for the university entrance test CUET 2026 and the medical entrance exam NEET UG 2026 are expected to be released in December. Both exams are expected to be held in April and May 2026, respectively.
