During this period, B.Ed pass candidates will have to apply by visiting the official website of BSEB. On the other hand, Bihar STET 2025 is to be held from 4 to 25 October. That is, now there is less time left for the preparation of the exam.

Let us know in this episode what the pattern of the Bihar STET exam is. How many questions will be asked? Is there a negative marking rule for giving wrong answers?

First, a look at Bihar STET

Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) is organized by the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB). This exam is given to become a teacher after completing a B.Ed. Only those who have passed graduation with 50 percent marks and B.Ed degree holders can participate in it. The age of the candidates should not be more than 37 years. Application for Bihar STET 2025 can be made till September 19 by visiting secondary.biharboardonline.com.

Two papers in Bihar STET too

Like CTET, two papers are also conducted in Bihar STET. The first paper is to determine the eligibility of primary teachers. The first paper contains questions from Child Development, Language, Mathematics, and Environmental Science. At the same time, the second paper was conducted to determine the eligibility of teachers of secondary classes. In this, child development, language, and subject-based questions are asked. For example, questions related to Mathematics, Science, and Social Science are asked.

How many marks are the questions worth, and what is the rule of negative marking

There are two papers in the Bihar STET. Each paper is 2.30-2.30 hours. If a candidate has applied for both the papers of Bihar STET, then he will have to give the exam for 5 hours. 150 150 questions are asked in each paper. That is, candidates who have applied for both the papers of Bihar STET will have to answer 300 questions in 5 hours. All questions are multiple choice. That is, 4 answers are given for one question, out of which the correct answer has to be selected.

Apart from the Bihar STET pattern, if we talk about the marking system, then one mark is fixed for each question in both the papers. That is, both papers are of 150-150 marks. One mark will be given for answering a question correctly. There is no provision for negative marking. Marks will not be deducted for giving wrong answers.
