To appear for the Bihar STET 2026 exam, candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, they must have completed a B.Ed., M.Ed., B.A.-B.Ed., or B.Sc.-B.Ed. program from an NCTE-recognized institution.

**Age Limit**
The minimum age for candidates is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per the rules. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.

**Application Fee**
For the Bihar STET exam, candidates belonging to the General, BC, and EWS categories must pay ₹960 for a single paper and ₹1,440 if applying for both papers. Additionally, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PH categories are required to pay ₹760 for a single paper and ₹1,140 for two papers. The application fee can be paid online.
