Bihar STET 2026: Who can apply?
Eligibility for Paper-1
Candidates must possess a B.Ed. degree along with the prescribed educational qualification in the relevant subject. Candidates holding any of the following prescribed qualifications may apply:
Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree
Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. degree
Four-year B.Ed./B.Sc. Ed. in the relevant subject from a recognized institution
Eligibility for Paper-2
Post-graduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree
B.Ed./B.Sc. Ed. with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject
Post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. degree
Age Limit
The minimum age for candidates applying for Bihar STET 2026 is 18 years.
Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
The maximum age limit is 37 years for male candidates in the unreserved category and 40 years for female candidates.

For the STET 2026, the fee is ₹960 for one paper and ₹1,440 for both papers for candidates belonging to the General, EWS, BC, and EBC categories.

What is the exam pattern for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET)?
