Bihar STET 2025 Registration: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the application process for Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET 2025) from Thursday, i.e., 11 September. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website after the link is activated. Applications will be accepted only on the official website secondary.biharboardonline.com.
Candidates who pass this exam will get a lifetime valid certificate, which will give them a direct chance to appear in the upcoming BPSC TRE-4 recruitment (December 2025).

Bihar STET 2025: Eligibility and Age Limit
It is mandatory for the candidates to have passed graduation to apply, and also a B.Ed. A degree in the relevant subject is also required. Also, the age limit of the candidates should be 21 to 37 years for men. The maximum age limit for women has been fixed at 40 years. The STET exam is being conducted by the Bihar Board to get eligibility for secondary and higher secondary government teacher jobs in the state.
Exam Pattern
The pattern of the Bihar STET 2025 exam has been fixed in such a way that it will have a total of 150 questions. Out of these, 100 questions will be subject-based, while the remaining 50 questions will be related to teacher art and other competencies. The total duration of the exam will be two and a half hours (2.5 hours). This exam will be conducted in two parts - Paper-1 for secondary classes and Paper-2 for higher secondary classes.

Paper-1 of Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 includes Hindi, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, and Dance subjects.
Paper-2 includes Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bengali, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture, and Music subjects at the higher secondary level.
BSTET 2025: Application Fee
The application fee for one paper is Rs 960 for General/BC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PH candidates have to pay Rs 760. While the application fee for both papers is Rs 1440 for General/BC/EWS, the application fee for SC/ST/PH is Rs 1140. The exam fee has to be paid through online mode only: Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
