Subject-wise eligibility for Bihar STET

1. Paper 1 (Secondary Level)

For subjects like Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, English, Bhojpuri, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, graduation in the relevant subject, B.Ed with postgraduation, or an integrated BA-B.Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed

Special combination

Maths: Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry or Computer or Statistics in Graduation

Science: Biology, Botany, Chemistry, or Engineering Degree

Social Science: History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science (at least one History or Geography is mandatory)

Language Subject: Graduation in the relevant language

2. Paper 2 (Higher Secondary Level)

For subjects like Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science

Masters in a relevant subject and B.Ed or BA-B.Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed or 3 years B.Ed-M.Ed course

3. Commerce

Master's in Commerce with 50% marks

Commerce subjects like Accounts, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship

3. Computer Science

MCA or MSc (Computer Science)

B.Tech or B.E. (CS or IT)

BCA and Master's (in any subject)

4. Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science

B.Ed. is not mandatory for Computer Science candidates.

5. Agriculture

Graduation in Agriculture or Horticulture (with 50% marks)

M.Sc. in Agronomy or Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, etc.

6. Music
