Bihar STET 2025: Application Process Begins with Key Changes, Apply Online Now

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially started the application process for Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 from September 19, 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online at bsebstet.org until September 27, 2025.
Important Updates
Candidates who pass the Bihar STET 2025 will receive a valid certificate for life, making them eligible for upcoming Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) teacher recruitment exams.
Earlier, the online application window was scheduled from September 11 to 19, 2025, but technical issues led to a postponement. Additionally, the official website for STET applications has now been updated to bsebstet.org, replacing previous portals like secondary.biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.com.
The exam dates are expected to be revised due to the change in the application timeline. Initially, the STET 2025 was scheduled between October 4 and 25, 2025, with results expected on November 1, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a graduate degree along with a B.Ed. in the relevant subject.

Age Limit: For men, 21–37 years; for women, up to 40 years.

The exam is conducted for state-level secondary and higher secondary teacher recruitment in Bihar.
Exam Pattern

The Bihar STET 2025 will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Marking Scheme: 1 mark per correct answer; no negative marking.

Paper Structure:

Paper-I & Paper-II: 100 questions from the specific subject.

50 questions on teacher aptitude and pedagogy.

Total Questions: 150

The exam will be conducted in CBT mode and will last 2.5 hours.
