Bihar Competency Examination: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given important information regarding the Competency Examination 2025 (Fourth and Fifth) for the teachers of local bodies. The committee has released the fourth and fifth competency examinations. Now the candidates can fill the online application form till 22 July 2025 and can also deposit the examination fee.

Now the last date for filling the application and depositing the fee for this exam has been extended to 22 July 2025. Candidates who could not apply on the earlier fixed date can apply for it.

What is Competency Examination?

Competency examination is conducted for those teachers who are working under local bodies (eg, Panchayat, Municipal Council, etc.). Its purpose is to ensure that the teachers meet the prescribed educational qualification and efficiency standards.

Who can give this exam?

Teachers of local bodies (Panchayat, Municipal Body) who are working in Bihar. Teachers who have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or CTET but have not passed the competency test.

Teachers who did not appear or could not succeed in the previous (first, second, third) competency examinations.

How to apply

First of all, go to the official website secondary.biharboardonline.com.

Click on the link "Competence Examination 2025 (Fourth/Fifth)".

Click on the link related to the competency examination available on the homepage.

Fill in your name, mobile number, email, and other necessary information.

Verify the mobile number through OTP.

After registration, you will get a login ID and password.

Fill in all the required information like name, date of birth, educational qualification, planning unit, working school, etc., correctly.

Employment letter, TET/CTET certificate, etc.

Pay the examination fee

Download the receipt after the payment is successful.

Finally take a print out of the filled application form and fee receipt and keep it safe.
