Bihar Police SI Exam Date 2026: Recruitment Examination to be Held in January
According to the notice issued by the BPSSC, the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector Preliminary Recruitment Examination will be held on January 18, 2026 (Sunday) and January 21, 2026 (Wednesday). The examination will be held in two shifts: the first shift will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will run from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The duration of the examination is two hours. Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern: What will the exam be like?
The Bihar Police SI Recruitment Preliminary Examination will consist of a single paper carrying 200 marks, with a total of 100 questions. The exam duration will be 2 (two) hours. The exam will include questions related to general knowledge and current affairs. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent will be disqualified from the Main Examination. Based on the Preliminary Examination, 20 times the number of candidates will be selected for the SI Main Examination.
When will the Bihar Police SI Admit Card be available?
The BPSSC is expected to release the Bihar Police SI Admit Card on December 30, 2025. The e-admit card download link for the Preliminary Written Examination will be uploaded on the Commission's official website, bpssc.bihar.gov.in. Please note that admit cards will not be sent by post.
