CSBC Bihar Police Constable Result: The Central Selection Board has released the Bihar Police Constable Result 2025 today (September 26). Candidates who took this government exam can now check the results of the written exam for the constable post on the official website, csbc.bih.nic.in. Successful candidates in the written exam will now have to appear for the next stage of the recruitment process: the physical test.
Over 99,000 candidates will appear for the physical test.
A total of 99,690 candidates have been selected for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). According to the official notification, a total of 1,706,628 candidates registered for the exam, of which 1,673,586 qualified. A total of 1,330,121 candidates appeared for the exam. According to the result PDF, a total of 99,190 candidates have been declared eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Physical Test to Begin in December
The physical test for the Bihar Police Constable recruitment will be conducted in December. Although the Central Selection Board has not yet announced the exact dates, the board previously shared the tentative month. The second stage of the recruitment process, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), is expected to begin in December 2025.
What will the Bihar Police Constable Physical Test consist of?
Race: Male candidates must complete a specified distance within a specified time (typically a 1.6 km run in approximately 6 minutes). The distance and time for female candidates are slightly different (typically a 1 km run).
Shot Put: Male candidates must throw a ball weighing approximately 16 pounds. Female candidates must throw a lighter ball (approximately 12 pounds).
Long Jump: Candidates must jump a minimum specified distance. This is done to test their physical ability and fitness.
Next Stages of the Recruitment Process
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Only candidates who pass the written examination are called for the PET. It includes running, long jump, high jump, and other physical tests. There are different criteria for male and female candidates.
Physical Standard Test (PST): This includes height, weight, and chest measurements. Only candidates who meet the prescribed criteria advance to the next stage.
Document Verification: Candidates who pass the PET and PST are verified for their educational certificates, identity cards, and caste certificates. Only if all documents are found to be correct, does the candidate advance to the next stage.
Final Selection: A list of candidates who pass the written examination, PET/PST, document verification, and medical examination is prepared. Based on this list, candidates are appointed as police constables.
