Bihar Police ASI Exam Date 2026 Postponed: There is significant news for candidates aspiring to become Steno Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) in the Bihar Police. The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has revised the date for the written examination scheduled under Recruitment Advertisement No. 02/2026. Previously, this examination was scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026; however, due to a clash with the NEET UG 2026 examination on the same day, it has now been rescheduled.

The examination will now be conducted on June 28, 2026, in a single shift (from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM). For this examination, which is being held to fill a total of 993 vacancies, candidates are required to report between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

Examination Date: June 28, 2026 (Sunday)
Examination Time: 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM
Reporting Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Entry will not be permitted after 11:00 AM)

When and How to Download the Admit Card (e-Admit Card)?
Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website: https://csbc.bihar.gov.in.

Starting June 15, 2026, candidates will be able to check details regarding their examination date and the district of their examination center by entering their Registration Number/Application Number, Registered Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.

From June 22, 2026 (00:00 AM), the link to download the e-Admit Card from the official website will go live; this link will remain active until 11:00 AM on June 28, 2026.

What to do if you are unable to download the admit card from the website? If, due to any technical glitch, you are unable to download your admit card from the website, you may obtain a duplicate e-admit card by visiting the office of the Central Selection Board in Patna (05, Harding Road, Bank Road, near Sachivalaya Halt, Patna - 800001) on June 26, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. For this purpose, you must carry a photocopy of your application form receipt and a valid photo ID (such as an Aadhaar Card or Voter ID).
