**10-Year Age Relaxation for Candidates of All Categories**
According to the Bihar School Examination Board, candidates from all categories have been granted an additional 10-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for the Bihar Librarian Eligibility Test 2026.

**Eligibility Criteria for the Librarian Eligibility Test**
To apply for the librarian post, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Library Science with at least 45% marks.
A 5% relaxation is granted to candidates belonging to reserved categories, differently-abled individuals, and women; meaning candidates from these categories must have passed their bachelor's degree with a minimum of 40% marks.

Additionally, candidates are required to pass the eligibility test.
The minimum age for candidates is 21 years. Under the new regulations, a 10-year relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided for this recruitment drive.
According to the new recruitment rules, 35% of the total posts may be reserved for women.

Please note that the BSEB has currently announced only the application dates for this eligibility test. The Librarian Eligibility Test will be conducted via Computer-Based Test (CBT) and will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be allowed two and a half hours—or 150 minutes—to complete the paper. There will be no negative marking in this examination.
