BSEB Matric Special, Compartment Exam 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the official date sheet for the Secondary Special Examination and Secondary Compartmental Examination 2026. Students who were unsuccessful in the regular Matric (Class 10) examination, or who wish to improve their scores, are eligible to appear for these examinations.
According to the released schedule, the theory examinations will be conducted between May 2 and May 6, 2026. The examination will be held in two shifts daily. The first shift will run from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the second shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. However, there may be slight variations in the examination duration for certain subjects.
Before the theory examinations, the practical and vocational subject examinations will be conducted on April 29 and 30, 2026.

Important Guidelines Related to the Examination
The Board has also issued several important instructions for the examinees:
A reading time of 15 minutes will be provided before each examination.
Visually impaired and differently-abled (spastic) students will be provided with the facility of a scribe (writer).
Such students will also be granted an additional 20 minutes for every hour of the examination.
Entry to the examination center will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Entry for the first shift will be valid only until 9:00 AM, and for the second shift, only until 1:30 PM.
Under no circumstances will students arriving late be granted entry.
Furthermore, the Board has directed schools to submit the marks for the internal assessment or project work in Science and Social Science to the District Education Officer by May 4, 2026.
Students are advised to carefully review the complete timetable and strictly adhere to all instructions issued by the Board to ensure they do not face any difficulties during the examination.
