Bihar Board 12th Compartment Exam 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued an important update for Class 12 students. This year, the Class 12 Board examinations were conducted from February 2 to February 13, 2026. A total of 13.17 lakh students appeared for this exam, comprising 6.75 lakh female students and 6.42 lakh male students. The results were declared on March 23, 2026, with a pass percentage of 85.19% this year. However, there are some students who either failed in one or two subjects or wish to improve their scores. For such students, the BSEB has organized the Intermediate Compartmental and Special Examinations. The Board has now extended the deadline to apply for these examinations to April 6, 2026. Students still have an opportunity to save their academic year.

What are the Compartmental and Special Examinations?

The Compartmental Examination is intended for students who have failed in one or two subjects. By appearing for this exam, students can save their academic year and secure the necessary passing marks. It provides students with a second chance to ensure that their academic career remains unaffected. The Special Examination is designed for students who, for any reason, were unable to appear for the main examination. This examination is typically conducted alongside the Compartmental Examination. The primary objective of both examinations is to provide students with an opportunity to save their academic year.

What is the Last Date to Apply?
