CBSE Syllabus 2027 Class 10: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will release the new, revised textbooks for Class 10 by December 2026—approximately three months before the start of the new academic session. The primary objective behind this decision is to ensure that students are fully familiar with the revised curriculum before the new session begins, allowing them to start preparing for their board examinations well in time and without any stress.

New Syllabus to be Sent to CBSE by November 15
According to media reports, NCERT Director Dinesh Prasad Saklani has clarified that the new syllabus for all Class 10 subjects will be submitted to the CBSE board by November 15, 2026. Additionally, it will be uploaded to the official website.

Availability of Textbooks in November and December
The new textbooks will cover subjects such as English, Hindi, Urdu, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, Skill Education, Arts, and Physical Education.
Language textbooks are expected to be available in the market by November 20, 2026.
Textbooks for other core subjects—such as Mathematics and Science—will be made available to students by the end of December 2026.

Benefits of Receiving Textbooks Ahead of Time
Curbing Piracy and Black Marketing

Ensuring that textbooks are available on time and at fixed prices will effectively put an end to the sale of counterfeit books and black-market practices.

Getting a Head Start on Studies
Students currently in Class 9 (whose final examinations conclude in February–March) will be able to begin their Class 10 studies as early as March, without having to wait for the new academic session to officially commence.

Opportunity for Teachers to Prepare
Teachers will also have the chance to familiarize themselves with the new curriculum in advance, enabling them to prepare high-quality teaching materials and notes accordingly.

Where to Purchase (Online and Offline)?

Once the books become available, they can be purchased via e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart, in addition to the official NCERT portal. Furthermore, for remote border areas or rural regions, the books will be delivered through the Army Postal Service.
