BCECEB Releases Dates for Polytechnic, ANM, and Paramedical Entrance Exams; Check Details..

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the dates for several examinations. The Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) is scheduled to be held on May 23 and 24. The application process for this examination has already commenced.

Candidates may submit their applications until April 21. Admit cards will be issued on May 15. The window for rectifying errors in applications will remain open until April 23 and 24.

Under the DCECE, admissions will be granted for courses in Polytechnic (Engineering), Paramedical (Intermediate Level), and Paramedical (Secondary Level). The examination for Polytechnic Engineering will be held on May 23, while the examination for PMM (Paramedical) will take place on May 24.

Similarly, under the Paramedical (Intermediate Level) stream, admissions will be offered for courses such as Diploma in Pharmacy, Sanitary Inspector, Ophthalmic Assistant, OT Assistant, Laboratory Technician, X-Ray Technician, Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistant, GNM, ANM, Dental Mechanics, and Dental Hygienist.

Admissions for ANM courses will be conducted for 4,530 seats across 73 government institutions and 2,997 seats across 129 private institutions. For GNM courses, admissions will be granted for 1,538 seats across 26 government institutions and 1,968 seats across 69 private institutions.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has also announced the date for the entrance examination for lateral entry admissions into the second year of Polytechnic institutions in both the government and private sectors.

The Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination (Lateral Entry)—covering 1,406 seats—will be conducted on May 24. Admit cards will be issued on May 15, and the application process will begin on March 20. The deadline for submitting applications is April 23. Candidates may rectify errors in their applications on April 25 and 26.
