Assam ADRE Grade III Result: The Assam government released the results of the recruitment exam for 7,650 Grade III posts on Friday. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that nearly two lakh people are being appointed under his administration.
The results have been released for Grade III posts conducted for 50 departments under the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE). Additionally, the selection list for over 600 posts has also been released separately.
We are going to provide nearly 2 lakh appointments for the youth of Assam.
"Once again, we have fulfilled our promise of clean, transparent, and merit-based recruitment. With the announcement of the ADRE and other results today, Assam has set a new benchmark for integrity, fairness, and opportunity in public appointments," Sarma said in a post on Instagram.
"We have also set a new record – delivering more than we promised."
He further said, "We promised 100,000 appointments, and today we are on track to achieve nearly 200,000 appointments—a true testament to our commitment to the youth of Assam."
Appointments to be made in 50 departments
The Chief Minister said the future of the young generation is secure, and their hard work defines the success of this new Assam.
Addressing a press conference here, Ajay Tiwari, Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman of the State-Level Recruitment Commission for Grade III Posts, which organized the ADRE, said, "The results for 7,650 Grade III posts have been declared today and are available through websites."
He said the selected candidates will be appointed to vacant posts in 50 departments, with the Agriculture Department having the highest number of vacancies at 1,850, followed by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department with 873 posts and the School Education Department with 581 posts.
Results for 5,614 posts to be released on Saturday
The official said that the ADRE for Grade-III posts was conducted in 28 districts in September last year, in which more than 1.7 million candidates participated.
Tiwari also said that along with the ADRE results, the names of selected candidates for 625 posts in various grades in the police were also announced on Friday.
He said that the state-level Police Recruitment Board had conducted the examination for these 625 posts, which include sub-inspectors, constables, and various Class IV employees.
Tiwari said, "The results for 5,614 more posts conducted by the Police Recruitment Board will be declared on Saturday."
