There is good news for students aspiring to build a career in the Ayurveda and AYUSH sectors. The Rajasthan Ayurveda Nursing Council has initiated the online application process for admission to the DAN&P diploma course for the 2026-27 session. Notably, this is the first time applications are being accepted online. Additionally, applications have been invited for admission to the BSc Nursing (Ayurveda) program at institutions affiliated with Ayurveda University, Jodhpur. Across both courses, a total of 14,360 seats are available in 246 government and private institutions within the state. Candidates can submit their online applications until September 28, 2026.
**14,360 Seats Across 246 Institutions**
For admission to the DAN&P course, there are a total of 11,230 seats available across 191 government and private institutions. Meanwhile, 3,130 seats are available for the BSc Nursing (Ayurveda) program across 55 institutions affiliated with Ayurveda University, Jodhpur. Thus, admissions will be granted for a total of 14,360 seats across both courses.
**Students from All Three Streams Can Apply**
A key feature of this admission process is that applications are not restricted solely to students from the science stream; students who have passed Class 12 from the Arts, Science, or Commerce streams are eligible to apply. This opens up opportunities for a larger number of students aspiring to build a career in the fields of Ayurveda nursing and pharmacy.
**Merit Based on Class 12 Marks**
Candidates will be selected based on a merit list prepared according to the marks obtained in the Senior Secondary (Class 12) examination. Therefore, the Class 12 marks of the applicants will be crucial.
