Lucknow University PG Admission 2026: This is extremely important news for students aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies at Lucknow University. The race for admission into PG courses within the university campus has officially begun. The university has invited applications for admission into various postgraduate and professional PG courses. According to the guidelines issued by the Admission Coordinator, all candidates wishing to secure admission may visit the university's official website to fill out the application form. The deadline for submitting applications has been set for June 15.

There is another significant detail regarding applications for admission into Lucknow University's PG programs: applications cannot be submitted directly. Before applying, students are required to register for their LURN (Lucknow University Registration Number). Only after completing this step can candidates proceed to the Samarth portal to submit their applications.

**Number of Seats Available in PG Courses**

According to reports, the University's Admission Coordinator, Professor Anitya Gaurav, stated that a substantial number of seats are available across various faculties. Within the Faculty of Arts, the M.A. in English program offers the highest number of seats, totaling 250. Additionally, there are 225 seats each in M.A. History & Archaeology, Economics, and Sociology; 200 seats in Hindi; and 150 seats each in Political Science and Urdu. Furthermore, there are 113 seats in M.A. Ancient Indian History (MIH), 100 in Public Administration, 88 in Psychology, 75 in Geography, 75 in Sanskrit, and 63 seats in Journalism & Mass Communication.
