The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has issued the notification for the Assistant Professor recruitment drive (2026). A total of 949 posts will be filled through this recruitment process.
The prescribed age limit for applicants is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation benefits in accordance with Madhya Pradesh government rules.

As part of the recruitment process, candidates must appear for a written examination. Subsequently, the documents of successful candidates will be verified. The Commission may also conduct an interview if deemed necessary. Final selection will be based on merit.
Selected candidates will receive a starting salary of ₹57,700 per month (Academic Level-10). Additionally, other allowances and benefits will be provided in accordance with government regulations.
The application fee is ₹500 plus a portal fee of ₹40 for General category candidates and those from outside Madhya Pradesh. For SC, ST, OBC, and EWS category candidates from Madhya Pradesh, the application fee is ₹250 plus a portal fee of ₹40.
