What is the pattern of the UPSC Civil Services Main exam?
Regarding the prescribed pattern of the UPSC Civil Services Main exam, it consists of a total of nine papers. Two of these are language papers (English and Hindi). Following these, there is an essay paper (250 marks) and four General Studies papers (GS I, GS II, GS III, and GS IV); each of these carries 250 marks.
