JNU MBA Admission 2026: There is good news for students dreaming of pursuing an MBA at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). JNU's Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) has initiated the application process for MBA Admissions 2026.

JNU MBA Admission 2026: Jawaharlal Nehru University has announced that the deadline for registration is May 15, 2026. Consequently, interested candidates are advised to complete their applications well in advance of the deadline. The application process for MBA admissions at JNU commenced in the first week of April. The second phase of the admission process is now set to begin shortly.

JNU MBA Classes to Begin in July

According to university officials, the entire selection process will be concluded by the end of May. This process will include a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. Following this, classes for the new academic session are expected to commence in the second week of July.

JNU MBA Admission 2026: How is Admission Granted?

The selection of students for the MBA program will be conducted in multiple stages. The highest priority has been accorded to the CAT score. As per the university's selection criteria, the CAT score carries a weightage of 70 percent. Additionally, the Group Discussion will be assigned a weightage of 10 percent, while the Personal Interview will carry a weightage of 20 percent.

  • First, visit the official JNU website: jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
  • Click on the 'MBA Admission 2026' link.
  • Create a Login ID by completing the new registration process.
  • Fill in all the required details in the application form.
  • Upload the necessary documents.
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Submit the form and take a printout for your records.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹2,000. Conversely, the application fee for students belonging to the SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (Divyang) categories has been fixed at ₹1,000. It is worth noting that JNU's ABVSME School launched its first MBA batch in 2019.
