The National Testing Agency has announced the date of the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination 2025 for the academic session 2025-26. According to the released exam schedule, the exam for admission in classes 6 and 9 will be conducted on 5th April. Students appearing in the exam can check the exam schedule released on the official website aissee.nta.ac.in.

Sainik School Entrance Exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode on OMR sheet. The entrance exam for class 6 will be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm and the 9th exam will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. Students successful in the exam will participate in counseling and will get admission according to the rank. At present, there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country. In which students will get admission in class 6 and 9th.

AISSEE 2025 Exam Pattern: What is the exam pattern?

Some 125 questions will be asked in the Sainik School Class 6 entrance exam. Questions related to language, mathematics, intelligence and general knowledge will be asked in the exam and the exam will be of total 300 marks. There will be a total of three sections in the paper, each of which will be of 50 marks. The mathematics section will have 50 questions, which will be of 150 marks.

At the same time, there will be a 180-minute exam for admission to class 9. In this, questions related to subjects like mathematics, intelligence, English, general knowledge and social science will be asked and the exam will be of total 400 marks. Students have to score at least 25 per cent in each section and 40 per cent overall to pass the exam.
