AIIMS NORCET 9: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has withdrawn the seat allocation results for the ninth AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET 9). These results have been withdrawn due to the pending distribution of reserved seats in various categories at some institutions. Accordingly, the approval process for the AIIMS NORCET 9 seat allocation 2025 has also been withdrawn.
The official notice from AIIMS states, "The provisional seat allocation result for NORCET-09 published on November 3 has been withdrawn in view of the pending updated distribution of reserved seats in various categories at some institutions."
Revised Results Within a Week
The revised seat allocation results will be published within a week. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in, for important updates.
Candidates will be allocated seats based on their NORCET 9 Main exam result rank and the choices filled for seat allocation. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the college to confirm their seat; otherwise, their seat allocation will be cancelled.
The AIIMS NORCET 9 recruitment drive aims to fill 3,500 vacancies in various institutes, including AIIMS, JIPMER, and others.
Results Declared in October
AIIMS New Delhi conducts the NORCET exam for recruitment to Nursing Officer positions. The NORCET 9 main results for 2025 were declared on October 3. A total of 13,996 candidates qualified for the NORCET 9 Phase 2 exam, of which 4,233 were men and 9,726 were women. A total of 19,332 candidates were selected for the exam. The AIIMS NORCET exam is conducted in two stages: preliminary and main.
