AIIMS INI SS January 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the counseling schedule for the Institute of National Importance – Super Specialty (INI-SS) January 2026 session. According to the official schedule, the Institute Allotment Result for INI-SS 2025 Round-1 will be declared on December 29, 2025.
As per the information released by AIIMS, the choice filling process for INI-SS Round-1 has already begun. Eligible candidates can select their preferred institutions based on their applied subject or specialty by visiting the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. The last date for choice filling is December 26, 2025, and the process must be completed by 5 PM.

50% Marks Required to Participate in INI-SS Counseling
AIIMS has clarified that only those candidates who have secured at least 50 percent marks in the INI-SS examination will be eligible for choice filling. The portal link will be activated only for eligible candidates. This counseling is being conducted for admission to the Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses.
Only eligible candidates will get the option for choice filling.
The official notice issued by AIIMS states that the choice filling portal will be active only on the “My Page” of those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria. Candidates will have to log in with the same user ID and password that they used while filling out the application form for the INI-SS January 2026 session.
INI-SS counseling will be conducted in two rounds.
AIIMS New Delhi is conducting the INI-SS January 2026 counseling process in two rounds. After the first round, the online institute allotment result for the second round will be released on January 20, 2026.
Institute allocation will be done purely based on merit, and only registered candidates within the stipulated time will be included. AIIMS has also clarified that candidates will not be able to make any changes or re-order their choices after the last date for submitting choices in the first round. The second round of allotment will also be based on the choices filled in the first round.
AIIMS has advised candidates to carefully follow all the dates and instructions related to the counseling and complete the process of choice filling, seat acceptance, and reporting on time to avoid any inconvenience.
