**When will the seat allocation result be released?**
According to the schedule, the seat allocation result for BSc (Hons) Nursing will be released on September 19, 2026. Meanwhile, the result for BSc Allied and Healthcare courses will be declared on September 23, 2026.
Subsequently, the period from September 24 to September 28, 2026, has been allotted for online acceptance of the allocated seat and completion of the related formalities.

**On what basis will seats be allocated?**
Seat allocation will be based on the candidates' merit and rank in the entrance examination. AIIMS has also released details regarding vacant seats for the open round. However, the number of seats is subject to change at the time of online seat allocation.
**Keep Original Certificates Ready**
Candidates who are allotted a seat must present the relevant original certificates at the time of admission. Therefore, candidates should keep their documents ready in advance.
Verification of certificates for candidates applying under reserved categories is also crucial. According to the applicable rules, if a candidate's certificate for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) fails verification, they may still be considered under the General category, provided their rank falls within the General category cutoff.
**What is the Order of Seat Allotment?**
Seat allotment will proceed by considering candidates in the following order: Unreserved category, followed by Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
If any seat reserved for the Economically Weaker Section remains vacant, it may be transferred to the Unreserved category and filled based on merit, in accordance with the rules. Similarly, a vacant seat reserved for Other Backward Classes may also be transferred to the Unreserved category.
Prescribed rules will also apply to vacant seats reserved for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. If a vacant seat from one category remains unfilled even after being transferred to another relevant reserved category, it may be allotted to candidates from the Unreserved category based on merit, as per the rules.
