AICTE Scholarship: If you are taking or preparing to take any technical education, including IIT, Polytechnic, B.Tech, then this news is important for you. Actually, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) gives scholarships to students taking technical education in the country. Under this scholarship, candidates pursuing a degree and a diploma in technical education are given a scholarship of Rs 50 thousand annually. So these scholarships are run for the children of martyred military personnel, as well as girl students and orphan students.

AICTE's Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girls: Degree-Diploma
Pragati Scholarship is the major scholarship scheme of AICTE. It is given by AICTE to girl candidates doing a degree and a diploma in technical education. Two girls from a family are also eligible for this scholarship. Under this scheme, girls pursuing a degree and diploma from an AICTE-affiliated institute can apply for a scholarship, but their family's annual income should not exceed 8 lakhs. There is a provision to give 50 thousand rupees annually to the girl students under the scholarship. Every year, 4 thousand scholarships are given by AICTE.

AICTE's Saksham Scholarship: Degree-Diploma

Talking about the second important scholarship of AICTE, it includes the name of the Saksham Scholarship. This scholarship is also given to candidates pursuing a degree or diploma in technical education. Every year, one thousand scholarships are given by AICTE under this scheme. This scholarship is mainly given to handicapped students, their disability should not be less than 40% and the family income should not be less than 8 lakhs. 50 thousand is given annually as a scholarship.

AICTE's Swanath Scholarship Scheme: Degree-Diploma

The Swanath Scholarship Scheme is also run by AICTE. Under this scheme, scholarships are given mainly to orphans, children who lost their family members due to COVID, children of martyrs of the Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces. These scholarships are also given to degree and diploma candidates. One thousand scholarships are given every year. 50 thousand rupees are given annually to the candidates as a scholarship.

Apply by 31 October
