AIBE 20 Result: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the results of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE XX) today. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download their results on the official website allindiabarexamination.com, using their login details. This year, the pass percentage was recorded at 69.21 percent.
According to official figures, a total of 2,51,968 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 1,74,386 candidates passed. However, 3 candidates were not included in the results due to their OMR sheets not being received.
Candidates who have successfully passed the examination will be issued a Certificate of Practice (CoP). This certificate must be obtained by the candidates in physical form from their respective State Bar Councils. Based on this certificate, candidates will be able to practice law in India.
The examination was conducted on November 30, 2025. The exam was held at 399 examination centers across the country from 1 PM to 4 PM. According to the examination evaluation pattern, candidates were awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, while there was no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The results have been prepared based on the final answer key. Earlier, candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections to the provisional answer key until December 10, 2025. After reviewing all the objections, the BCI decided to remove 5 questions from each set, after which the final answer key was released.
AIBE 21 Schedule: 21st Bar Examination to be held on June 7
The Bar Council of India has further decided that the next All India Bar Examination, i.e., the 21st All India Bar Examination (AIBE-XXI), will be held on June 7, 2026. The registration process will begin on February 11, 2026. The detailed schedule for the All India Bar Examination-XXI is as follows:
