AIBE 19 Registration: The last date to apply for AIBE i.e. All India Bar Examination (AIBE) has been extended. Now the application forms for AIBE 19 will be filled till 15 November 2024. The Bar Council of India (BCI) issued a notice giving this information. In such a situation, candidates who want to participate in AIBE 19 should apply quickly from the official website of BCI. Earlier the last date to apply for AIBE 19 exam was 25 October 2024.
Let us tell you that BCI has recently updated the AIBE 19 eligibility criteria. Now, final-year law students without any backlog and law graduates without enrollment certificates can also apply for the exam.
Why is the AIBE exam important?
AIBE 19 exam will be conducted on 24 November 2024, for which admit cards will be issued on 18 November 2024. This exam will be of three hours 30 minutes. All the questions in this exam will be objective type. The exam will have 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. However, there will be no negative marking. AIBE is an examination conducted by the Bar Council of India for law graduates wishing to start practice as a lawyer. The candidate who passes the exam is given a certificate to practice as a lawyer. After this, the person will be eligible to practice in any court in India.
To pass the AIBE 19 exam, candidates of the general and OBC categories will have to get 45% marks. On the other hand, SC / ST and disabled candidates will have to get a minimum of 40% marks to pass.
