AIAPGET 2026: Power outage... 49 candidates unable to take the exam; NTA announces re-examination..

The All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 was conducted on August 22 in a single shift using a computer-based format. A total of 36,979 candidates registered for the exam, and 35,837 appeared for it. The examination took place at 200 centers across the country. However, 49 candidates at the Sri Satya Sai PG College center in Jaipur could not complete the exam due to a power outage; a total of 192 candidates had appeared for the exam at this center. The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the conducting agency, Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, responsible for this incident.

Nevertheless, the NTA has announced a re-examination for those 49 candidates. According to the NTA, the re-examination will be held on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur. The NTA will issue revised admit cards to the affected candidates, and detailed information regarding the re-examination—including exam-related instructions—will be provided through these revised admit cards. The NTA has advised the affected candidates to follow the information given in their revised admit cards and appear for the re-examination at the designated center.

Following the exam and the subsequent declaration of results, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can participate in the counseling and admission process for AYUSH post-graduate courses in accordance with the applicable admission rules.
