AIAPGET 2026: The NTA has commenced the application process for AIAPGET 2026. This exam facilitates admission to MD and MS courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy. The exam will be conducted on August 22, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

What new changes have been introduced in AIAPGET 2026?
This year, the NTA has introduced several new changes to the application process. These include features such as Aadhaar authentication, live photo capture, and online verification for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
Candidates are encouraged to complete Aadhaar-based authentication.
A live photo must be submitted alongside the passport-sized photograph during the application process.
This live photo will appear on the admit card and the score card.
Candidates possessing a UDID card must upload it during the application process.
In the absence of a UDID card, a disability certificate issued by a competent authority may be uploaded.
How will the live photo capture feature work?
The NTA has introduced a live photo capture system for the first time. Candidates will be required to take a clear photograph of their face during the application process.
There should be adequate lighting while taking the photo.
The background should be plain and clean.
There should be no obstruction on the face.
Candidates who do not have a webcam will be able to upload the photo using a mobile phone and a QR code.
Which courses offer admission?
AIAPGET is the only national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to AYUSH postgraduate courses across the country. Admissions to All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats will be granted based on the marks obtained in this examination.

Will there be a separate entrance exam?
