AI For All Teachers: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming society. Whether it's tech companies or schools, the use of AI is increasing everywhere. Efforts have begun to integrate school teachers with artificial intelligence technology. Very soon, AI training will begin for school teachers from kindergarten to grade 12 (K-12) across India.

In fact, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, the country's top engineering college, has announced the 'AI For All' program. This program will be launched for teachers across the country. IIT Madras has announced that it will help equip all school teachers from kindergarten to grade 12 across India with AI skills.

'AI for Educators' Training Program
IIT Madras will provide artificial intelligence training to teachers from KG to grade 12. This training program is named 'AI for Educators'. This program aims to simplify AI education in all subjects and enable teachers to acquire essential AI knowledge and practical tools.

No Fees for Training
IIT Madras will launch this program free of charge. In partnership with IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, the online course will be available through SWAYAM Plus. Its duration will be between 25 and 45 hours, and it will be completely free.

Teachers will be equipped with AI skills.
This course was launched at an IIT Madras event by Director V. Kamakoti. Kamakoti said, "Artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of learning, and teachers up to grade 12 are playing a crucial role in bringing this change to classrooms. By equipping them with AI skills, we are not only strengthening education but also contributing to nation-building."

SWAYAM Plus Over 430 Online Courses
Swayam Plus, an initiative of IIT Madras under the Ministry of Education, is designed to provide learning opportunities to learners across India. The platform currently offers over 430 online courses across 15 sectors, including engineering, banking, financial services (BFSI), hospitality, and IT/ITES.

Five AI Courses at IIT Madras
IIT Madras has already launched AI courses. The institute launched five AI courses this year. These include AI in Physics, AI in Chemistry, AI in Accounting, Cricket Analytics, and AI/Machine Learning using AI and Python. These five courses are part of IIT's 'AI For All' initiative.
