**Government AI University to be Established in Bengaluru**
Shivakumar announced that the government is moving forward with plans to establish India's first government-run AI university in Bengaluru. The Chief Minister also mentioned that the expert committee constituted to reform the examination system is expected to submit its report within approximately two months. This is anticipated to lead to improvements in the state's examination framework.
**Plans to Fill 72,000 Government Vacancies**
The Karnataka government has also set ambitious employment targets. There is a plan to fill approximately 72,000 vacant government posts over the next six months. Furthermore, the 'Udyog Setu' scheme will be launched to boost employment in the private sector. Companies generating new jobs will receive an incentive of approximately ₹2,500 per job per month for a period of two years. According to the government, this initiative could benefit around one lakh (100,000) jobs. A special horizontal reservation of 7.5 percent has also been announced for students from rural areas in medical, engineering, and other professional courses. The government has set a target of taking Karnataka's economy to $3 trillion by 2047.
