Thousands of candidates from 12 districts of the Varanasi region in Uttar Pradesh participated in this Agniveer recruitment examination. Candidates who have passed this exam will now have to report to the Army Recruitment Office. They will then be given updates regarding their further training. Training for this batch is expected to begin in the coming weeks. The recruitment examination was held at the Ranbankure Ground in Varanasi Cantonment from November 8 to 21, 2025.

Which Candidates Will Get a Second Chance?
Several candidates who participated in the Agniveer recruitment in Muzaffarpur raised various questions regarding the written examination and filed complaints with the Army Recruitment Office. Following these complaints, a second merit list will be released for the candidates who passed. Candidates were given until December 15 to file complaints. Those whose complaints were received will be given this second opportunity. If a complaint is found to be valid, the candidate's name may appear on the second merit list, which will be released in January 2026.
