AFCAT 1 2026: Indian Air Force Launches Online Application Process, Youth Show Enthusiasm
The Indian Air Force has opened the online application process for AFCAT 1 2026, allowing youth to apply for various positions, including flying and ground duty.
The Indian Air Force has once again provided a golden opportunity for youth across the country. The online application process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 1 2026) began today, November 17th. Candidates applying for this exam can now fill out their application form by visiting the official website, afcat.cdac.in. Please note that forms will only be accepted online, and the deadline is December 9th, 2025.
Who Can Apply?
Certain eligibility requirements have been established for candidates applying for AFCAT 1 2026. First, candidates must have a 10+2 degree, a bachelor's degree, an engineering degree, or an NCC certificate. Different positions require different educational qualifications, so candidates should check the notification before applying.
Age Limit
- Flying Branch: Minimum age 20 years and maximum age 24 years.
- Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): Maximum age 26 years.
- NCC candidates will also receive age relaxation as per the rules.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for AFCAT Entry is ₹550. This fee is the same for all categories. The fee can only be paid online. There is a separate process for NCC Special Entry, but candidates should also check the official notification for this.

How to fill out the online application form?
- To apply, candidates should first visit the website afcat.cdac.in.
- Next, click on the Recruitment link on the home page.
- On the new page, click on "Not Yet Registered? Register Here" to register.
- Enter your name, mobile number, email address, and other required information.
- After registration, sign in and complete the remaining part of the form.
- After filling in all the information, pay the application fee.
- Finally, submit the form and take a printout.
