The university has initiated the admission process for undergraduate courses, including BA and B.Ed., for the 2026 academic session. Interested candidates can apply online until July 15, 2026. Applications will be accepted through the Samarth admission portal.
To simplify the admission process this time, the university has divided it into two stages. In the first stage, candidates must register and update their profiles. Subsequently, in the second stage, they must select their preferred course and pay the application fee. All procedures for both stages must be completed by July 15.
Options to Choose from Various Subjects for BA
For the BA course, the university has made 83 subject combinations available this year. Candidates are required to select at least 40 of these options. Meanwhile, for B.Sc. (Mathematics), there are a total of 14 subject combinations, and selecting all of them is mandatory. Similarly, 12 subject combinations are offered for B.Sc. (Biology), and all candidates must select them as well. However, the university has clarified that the final subject combination allotted will depend on seat availability.
Keep These Documents Ready Before Applying
Before starting the online application, keep certain essential documents ready. These include Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, a recent passport-sized photograph, a signature (in JPG/JPEG format), and—if applicable—a valid certificate for EWS, OBC, SC, or ST categories issued in the central format. These documents will be required during the application process.
No Opportunity After July 15
The university has clarified that the deadline for registration, profile updates, course selection, and fee payment is July 15, 2026. Applications will not be accepted after this date. Therefore, students wishing to enroll at Allahabad University are advised to complete the application process as soon as possible rather than waiting until the last minute, ensuring they do not miss the opportunity due to any technical issues.
