DU Admission: Delhi University has launched an on-the-spot mop-up round for admission to the approximately 9,000 remaining undergraduate seats. Interestingly, a CUET UG score is not required for admission. The process will run from September 23rd to 29th. DU has also set some rules for admission during the mop-up round. DU Admission: If you want to study at Delhi University, here's some useful news for you. Interestingly, students will now be admitted based on their 12th-grade scores, not their CUET UG scores. DU has launched an on-the-spot mop-up round based on their 12th-grade scores for the approximately 9,000 remaining undergraduate seats. The mop-up round will begin today, Tuesday.
DU Admission: Admission based on 12th-grade marks
Admission in this round will be based on Class 12th (or equivalent) merit, not on the CUET (UG) score. The university has already released the vacant seats for these colleges and programs on its admission website, www.admission.uod.ac.in.
DU Admission: Admission process to continue until September 29
The admission process will run from September 23rd to September 29th. Candidates from PwBD, SC, ST, and others have been invited first. Representatives from all colleges will also participate in this admission process, which will be held in the multi-purpose hall at the DUK Sports Complex.
DU Admission Guidelines: Admission Rules
Candidates already admitted to a college or program will not be eligible for this round.
Seat allocation will be considered final, with no upgrades or withdrawals.
Upon receiving a seat, the candidate must immediately deposit the fee online, otherwise the seat will be cancelled and given to the next candidate.
Candidates who fail to appear on time will automatically forfeit their claim.
If any documents are found missing, admission will be immediately cancelled.
DU Admission: Guaranteed Admission
Being called in this round means admission is guaranteed. However, keep in mind that only a maximum of two people can accompany the candidate to campus. Also, keep all the points mentioned above in mind.
