There is significant news for students in Uttar Pradesh aspiring to enroll in nursing courses. The admission process for B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing programs have officially commenced. This year, the entire application process has been made online, and students can submit their forms until May 20. The Common Nursing Entrance Test (CANET) for admission is scheduled to be held on June 6. Through this examination, seats will be allotted in both government and private colleges. Students are advised to apply well in advance to ensure they can avail themselves of this opportunity.

**Important Dates**
The deadline for submitting applications has been set for May 20. Corrections to the application forms can be made between May 13 and May 20. Admit cards will be issued on May 30, and the examination will be conducted on June 6. The results of the examination are expected to be declared during the second week of June. The entire admission process is scheduled to be completed by July 15.

**Who Will Conduct the Examination?**
This entrance examination will be conducted by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University. According to the Controller of Examinations, Dr. Devashish Shukla, all necessary preparations have been completed.

**Eligibility and Prerequisites**
To be eligible for admission to the B.Sc. In the nursing program, students must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in their Class 12 examinations, specifically in the Science stream. Additionally, having English as a subject is mandatory. Applications will be accepted exclusively through the online mode.

**Examination Details and Seat Availability**
The examination will be conducted in an offline mode, and the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English. A total of 20 examination centers have been established across the state. Currently, approximately 1,370 seats are available in government colleges, while around 10,240 seats are available in private colleges. Meanwhile, for the M.Sc. In the nursing program, there are 270 seats in the government sector and approximately 1,100 seats in the private sector. This year, the number of seats for the B.Sc. The nursing program is expected to increase by approximately 150.

**Reason for the Early Start of the Process**
Last year, due to delays in the declaration of results, many students opted to seek admission in other states, resulting in numerous seats remaining vacant. In light of this situation, the admission process was initiated earlier this year.

Examination centers have been established in Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Banda, Ghaziabad, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Varanasi, and Gautam Buddha Nagar.
